HYPP Privacy Policy

HYPP is a pet-centered activity and tracking platform under active development. This policy describes the categories of information the HYPP mobile experience may process as features are enabled. The public website itself does not require login and does not use analytics in this first release.

Information tied to your account and pets

HYPP may process account and profile information you provide, along with pet profile information such as pet name, photo, profile details, and the relationships you choose to share with owners, family, friends, or pet care providers.

Location and activity data

When you choose to record an activity or use tracking features, HYPP may process location and activity data such as route points, timestamps, distance, movement, and related activity history. The mobile app will request the permissions needed for the feature you choose, including location or background permission where continuous recording requires it.

Photos, videos, and other media

If you attach photos or videos to a pet profile or activity, HYPP may process that media so it can appear with the related pet or activity.

Device and tracker data

When compatible device features are used, HYPP may process device identifiers and tracker data such as location reports, battery status, network status, timestamps, or other fields exposed by the configured device path.

Diagnostics and support communications

If diagnostics or crash reporting are enabled in a shipping beta build, HYPP may process technical diagnostics needed to investigate reliability problems. If you contact support, HYPP may retain support communications and the information you choose to include in them.

Sharing and visibility controls

HYPP is being designed so the people connected to a pet can have role-aware access. Your sharing choices and permissions determine who can see pet, activity, media, and location information where those features are enabled.

Third-party processors

HYPP may rely on third-party platform or infrastructure processors only when they are actually enabled for the shipping build. This policy will be updated before new processors are introduced publicly, and store privacy disclosures will be kept aligned with the shipping app.

Retention and deletion

HYPP retains information only as needed for the service, beta support, security, or legal/operational obligations. You may request deletion of your account and related data through the Delete Account & Data page. Some limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or to document a completed deletion request.
